Non-Drunken Rambling

cassandra_7Well I did not, in fact, get drunk at the bowling night.
I was SO VERY hung over today I think I've learned my lesson about doing crap like that in the middle of the week. Seriously. My friend and I drank OVER two bottles of wine between us. I've not had that much to drink in one night since the Sheffield Pirate picnic, and most of you know just how much pain I was in the next day. So by the time bowling night evening came around, I drank fruit juice and "virgin" mixed drinks for most of the evening, finally giving in and having a Long Island Iced Tea with dinner.

malsain won, with a score of 109. Opai came in a close second. I was no where near those two, but I did get two strikes, so I was happy about that. After bowling we visited almost every restaurant in the ValleyCentertainment complex trying to find one that could seat us, and finally ended up back at the Boardwalk, where we met before bowling. They had passable steaky type things, and we got crayons to draw on the paper covering the "tablecloth" so that sort of redeemed it.
It was decided that due tothedarkfairy's German class on Thursdays and hyzenflay's new job that our weekly game night would move to Saturday nights. This has lots of bennies, among them the chance to actually prepare food and such for game night, and not being worried about finishing early because of work the next day.
In preparation for this "new" game night, I need to get unpacking with the boxes, because we're going to need more of the "party games" I think. As I've got tomorrow off work, I'll probably either fritter the day away playing computer games or try to get off my arse and clean up the house and unpack some boxes. Eh, coin toss.
