My day.

Today, I got up slightly late (caught the 8:30 bus to work which with the traffic puts me in work at about 9:20).
Work went fine, more moves to plan, and I spent the rest of the day finishing up a project in Excel. Which was fun.

Then *trumpets* I went to the gym! I actually went and exercised. I swam for half an hour or so, and managed 1/3 of a mile (20 laps) plus some treading water between a few (to get my breath back).

I realise it's a bit crap, but for me, it was a big deal. Now if I can just keep going. I've got an advantage in that my boss goes every Monday and Wednesday like clockwork, so I have someone to push me. I figure if I want to lose weight, I'm going to have to start exercising, because I'm never going to get my diet down enough to lose weight without exercising. I just like food too much.

skipping food is not a healthy way to lose weight, nor is it maintainable. Making the body stronger is a much better option. Kudos!

Let me work my way up to walking/running.

I *hate* exercise, and only the fact that I *love* swimming is making this a possibility. Although if it gets me in shape so I can keep up with people going up and down the hills in Whiby... that's a definite bonus as well.

Thanks, but I've got plans Wed. I'm going swimming with my work mates, then hopefully to Dead Nightclub Night at the Dove and Rainbow.

If I manage to continue going with my workmates, I plan to join the Fitness Unlimited, then I'll be free (haha) to go to the one in Hillsborough as well.
