More about the bands

cassandra_7Ok, now that I've had a nice bath, and am no longer covered in beer (I wrote the previous post while my bath was running) I had time to re-read my previous post and consider things I'd left out.
The opening band, the Fighting Cocks, were really good as well. I think being at the front, where we couldn't understand a word of the lyrics, was a plus.
They really were fabulous.
Secondly, I forgot to mention the violinist. OMFG. Sexy doesn't begin to cover it. I mean, musicians always have a special ... attractiveness, but this guy....
For those of you who've read it. In Being a Green Mother, Orb goes to the gypsy camp to find out about the Llano. The gypsy leader, Nikolai, could have been based on this guy. If you've read it, you'll understand what I mean.
And he was about two feet from me for most of the show. I have a photo :-)
If I weren't married. ... it wouldn't make a difference, because he wouldn't look twice at me. But while we're making believe anyway...
