Games Night/Weekend
Jun. 27th, 2008 07:02 pmWow. That was so fun. I laughed so much ... I haven't laughed that much in recent memory.
I want to say thank you to everyone who showed up to games night last night. I was a little panicky when I realised we were looking at 8 people, but it worked out fine. I hope everyone got enough pita.
So, let's do it again.... next week was problematic for people, with Knitting on Tuesday, and stuffs on Thursday for various people. Wed, of course, Alan is dancing, and well, that leaves Friday.
Which means we can start the "magic weekend of games" on Friday night!
Those wanting to stay over Friday can let me know and I'll make sure we have crash space, and we can play as late as we want, crash, get up and play games the next day until the BBQ, and then do it again!
Or, those of you who don't fancy staying over can join in whenever you like, and go home at your leisure.
Those not interested in games or who have less time are still very, very welcome to come over for the Fourth of July BBQ on 5 July 2008 starting at around 5pm.
Anyone who is keen for a midweek games night next week, let me know (y'all know my e-mail addy I trust, or you can post here). If we've got a few people, we might have an extra one.
And, just because I know
hyzenflay is thinking it at this point, yes, ok, you were right, I *did* miss the games too.
