Cassie's Life
Aug. 25th, 2006 09:30 pmThis week has been great.
Monday... I didn't do anything Monday. I'm sure I must have done *something* Monday, but I can't remember what.
Tuesday... I went out with Saskia and Opai to the Graduate and had Pizza. I also had Nachos before everyone else got there. I was really hungry. Had a great time catching up! And drinking cider and wine.
Wednesday... Didn't do much... I ascended Tuesday night after the going out with friends. Wednesday... Oh yeah! We watched Mulan. It was predictable but fun. And we ate posh food from Waitrose. Pork medallions with cheese and roasted root vegetables. mmmmm
Thursday I went shopping with Hyzenflay. That was way fun, even though I was a total loser and forgot my phone and my *vouchers* which were why we were going. To spend my work vouchers. Although now that I think about it, I did have *some* vouchers in my wallet we could have spent. I lose again. Anyway, Hyz and I met up at the mall (aka Meadowhall) and shopped some, then had a very nice dinner at Potter's Grill. It was a fun, relaxing dinner and we got all caught up. As usual though I did more than my share of talking. I need to get better at that.
Finally Today. Well, work kinda sucked, but my Excel programming project is coming along, and I've learned enough that I was able to debug someone else's code when one of the secretaries had trouble with a sheet someone else had written. W00t! Interestingly it was a mistake *I'd* almost made, so I recognized it immediately. Also, they were cleaning the drains at work and it smelled AWFUL. First like... wind ... then like soured milk an hour or so later. Really disgusting. I commented that it was really sad when the toilets smelled better than the office.
Then I came home, we had nummy stuff for dinner and watched a movie.
I've got no firm plans yet for the bank holiday weekend, so if anyone out there wants to do stuff (especially if we've talked about doing stuff before) give me a shout.
(I was unable to order Betrayal at House on the Hill. It seems all the big game stores in England are sold out. I'm going to order it from Germany if I can get the site to work for me)
Here's hoping tomorrow's weather is as nice as today!
