The winner and new champeeen!!!!!!
Been a good news, bad news kinda week.
Good news: We finally got the last piece of paper we need to stay in the UK. Alan and I are now legal to stay and work in the UK as we like until 29 September 2008.
Bad news: We found out at work on Tuesday morning that NU decided to close our department in Sheffield and move all the work to York. They've arranged jobs that we can move into, but I'm not likely to get a position I like as well. We'll see how that goes.
Apologies to Hyzenflay who got conflicting messages on Tuesday as I arranged games night before I got to work and then had no heart for it after the announcement.
Well, it's off to work. For now.
